Storms Tuesday night tore off roofs and took down powerlines in Ashmore. Schools in village were closed because they lost electricity. Some residents were without eletricity for hours and say damage around town could take days if not weeks to repair. Significant damage was done to the Ashmore Estates building and the John Deere Dealership. The dealership's manager Josh Longs says all the buildings at the business, but one, were damaged.
