After the Eastern Illinois women's basketball team posted a 2-0 record last week, forward Mariah King won the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the week award for her 19-point and 23-point performances against Southeast Missouri and UT Martin respectively.
The senior turned in her best performance of the season against the Skyhawks on Monday, hauling in 10 rebounds to go along with her 23 points, 19 of which came in the second half.
King has three double-doubles this season while averaging 13.9 PPG and 6.1 RPG through 21 starts.
King and the rest of the Panthers travel to SIU Edwardsville on Saturday.
Tip-off is at 4 p.m. in the Vadalabene Center.
