Mattoon Auto Theft

Mattoon police arrest two men accused of burglarizing and stealing a vehicle from a car lot in Mattoon.

Police said 31- year-old Laurence Thompson and 33-year-old Matthew Cook of Mattoon are accused of burglarizing Ideal Auto Sales and stealing a car while there.

Authorities said they were dispatched to the 19-hundred block of Lake Land Boulevard in regards to a business alarm.<
