Save A Mutt shelter in Chrisman, Illinois, will soon mark its 2-year anniversary in September.

This shelter runs out of Karen Graves' home and the community has been in full support of the operation.

Graves says many of the dogs come from no-kill shelters.

The shelter runs solely on donations, Graves' own money and volunteers.

Her barn and basement hold the animals and Graves' says she will continue to help any animals as long as she can.
