One city is hoping residents will do a little extra to serve their community and city officials are putting this service at the top of their list.

It's called Operation Community Pride and it's a program recently launched by the city to clean up its image.

Officials say they are willing to work with and help those who can't afford some upkeep. 

But add when it comes to safety issues, it's something that won't be negotiated.
