Tuskegee Airmen
A stretch of highway in Illinois will honor the bravery and sacrifice of the Tuskegee Airmen.
Governor Pat Quinn helped unveil a sign for the Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Trail on Monday.
The sign will be placed along a stretch of Interstate 57 which runs south of Chicago.
Officials say the Fighter Group was the first black unit to fly in the U-S military.
They also say their service was an important part of breaking racial barriers during World War Two.
